The average cycles; parts thereof, saddles import price stood at $8.6 per unit in July 2023, rising by 1.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a slight setback. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 an increase of 31% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $11.5 per unit in August 2022; however, from September 2022 to July 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was France ($16.0 per unit), while the price for China ($6.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+4.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Austria ($55.7 per unit), while the average price for exports to Ireland ($5.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+11.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
