In August 2023, the average cycles; parts thereof, saddles import price amounted to $22.7 per unit, increasing by 18% against the previous month. From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+9.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +58.6% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 35% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $7.4M, and then shrank in the following year.
