In September 2023, the average cycles; parts thereof, saddles import price amounted to $5.0 per unit, jumping by 53% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible curtailment. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $6.9 per unit in October 2022; however, from November 2022 to September 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the UK ($48.4 per unit), while the price for Japan ($1.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Vietnam (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
