In July 2023, the average cycles; parts thereof, saddles import price amounted to $14.0 per unit, dropping by -9.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 35% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $16.9 per unit. From March 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was Italy ($39.9 per unit), while the price for China ($6.9 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+13.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
