The average import price for cyclic hydrocarbons; mixed xylene isomerses stood at $1,313 per ton in 2022, jumping by 38% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $1,657 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $11,935 per ton, and then fell remarkably in the following year.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Macao SAR.
