In 2022, the average export price for dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes and mangosteens; fresh or drieds amounted to $886 per ton, almost unchanged from the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average export price increased by 5.9%. The export price peaked at $919 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($2,670 per ton), while the average price for exports to Chile ($487 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+11.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

As a result, import price reached the peak level of $3,264 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Israel ($2,813 per ton), while the price for India ($1,278 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Peru (+20.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
