The average export price for dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes and mangosteens; fresh or drieds stood at $2,960 per ton in 2022, growing by 6.2% against the previous year. Overall, export price indicated a remarkable increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +8.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, export price for dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes and mangosteens; fresh or drieds decreased by -2.1% against 2020 indices. The import price peaked at $5,553 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.

As a result, imports reached the peak of 9.3K tons, and then fell dramatically in the following year.
