The average export price for electric generators stood at $57,352 per unit in 2022, picking up by 44% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a pronounced decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when the average export price increased by 54% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $84,266 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Uzbekistan ($84,963 per unit), while the average price for exports to Armenia ($596 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
