Price for Electric Motors; AC Motors, Single-Phase in China (FOB) - 2023
In June 2023, the average export price for electric motors; AC motors, single-phases amounted to $6.9 per unit, with a decrease of -3.9% against the previous month. Overall, the export price saw a slight decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 2,885% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $8.7 per unit in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($15.5 per unit), while the average price for exports to Bangladesh ($3.2 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average import price for electric motors; AC motors, single-phases stood at $19 per unit in 2022, waning by -28.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a perceptible decrease. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 35%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $32 per unit. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
