The average import price for electric motors and generators stood at $16.4 per unit in December 2023, picking up by 14% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 31% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $18.0 per unit in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
