In September 2023, the average import price for embroidery; in the piece, in strips or in motifses amounted to $20,710 per ton, with an increase of 74% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price showed a resilient increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2023 when the average import price increased by 84% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $27,820 per ton. From February 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Myanmar ($76,202 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($16,950 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+6.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

The average export price for embroidery; in the piece, in strips or in motifses stood at $22,637 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 4.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a noticeable slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 37% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $35,789 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Ukraine ($157,805 per ton), while the average price for exports to Hungary ($4,400 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Norway (+9.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the amount of embroidery; in the piece, in strips or in motifses imported into Poland surged to 603 tons, jumping by 18% against 2021.
