The average import price for ethers; acyclic, and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives, diethyl ethers stood at $6,373 per ton in 2022, reducing by -34% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import price indicated perceptible growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, import price for ethers; acyclic, and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives, diethyl ethers increased by +27.5% against 2017 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 60%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $9,663 per ton, and then shrank significantly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($17,347 per ton), while the price for the Czech Republic ($5,347 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+12.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

After two years of decline, supplies from abroad of ethers; acyclic, and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives, diethyl ethers increased by 379% to 1.7 tons in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a deep setback.
In value terms, imports of ethers; acyclic, and their halogenated, sulphonated, nitrated or nitrosated derivatives, diethyl ethers surged to $11K in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern.
