The average export price for ethylene polymers; waste, parings and scraps stood at $200 per ton in November 2023, increasing by 8.3% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a mild descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 23% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $280 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Finland ($369 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania ($109 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Finland (+11.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
