The average import price for fabrics, woven; containing 85% or more by weight of non-textured polyester filamentses stood at $1.3 per square meter in 2022, picking up by 2.2% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 55%. The import price peaked at $1.9 per square meter in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($3.7 per square meter), while the price for China ($884 per thousand square meters) was amongst the lowest.

Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 51% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $3.7 per square meter in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Cyprus ($7.1 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Italy ($2 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to North Macedonia (+7.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
