Over the period from June 2023 to June 2024, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average import price increased by 35% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $1.4 per square meter in April 2024; however, from May 2024 to June 2024, import prices failed to regain momentum.

As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2.4 per square meter. From February 2024 to June 2024, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($6.6 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Canada ($1.5 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2023 to June 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+12.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
