The average import price for fabrics, woven; containing less than 85% by weight of non-textured polyester filamentses stood at $739 per thousand square meters in April 2024, with an increase of 59% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price enjoyed a slight increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 an increase of 103% m-o-m. The import price peaked in April 2024.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In April 2024, the country with the highest price was France ($3.7 per square meter), while the price for China ($508 per thousand square meters) was amongst the lowest.
