Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2023 an increase of 45% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $4,680 per ton, and then reduced in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was the UK ($16,717 per ton), while the average price for exports to Portugal ($2,363 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
