The import price peaked at $707 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($1,920 per ton), while the price for Norway ($319 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
