In 2022, the average import price for fireworks, signalling flares, rain rockets, fog signals and other pyrotechnic articleses amounted to $15,457 per ton, rising by 320% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a mild decrease. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $18,326 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for India.

From 2012 to 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for China amounted to +6.1% per year.

In general, imports faced a precipitous contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 361% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of 1.1 tons, and then declined rapidly in the following year.

In value terms, imports of fireworks, signalling flares, rain rockets, fog signals and other pyrotechnic articleses fell remarkably to $1.3K in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a remarkable increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 189%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $4K, and then dropped significantly in the following year.
