The average fish; live, ornamental, freshwater import price stood at $36,765 per ton in 2022, waning by -10.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a pronounced curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average import price increased by 97%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $63,636 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (+73.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
