Price for Flaked or Rolled Cereal in Ecuador (CIF) - 2022
In January 2022, the average flaked or rolled cereal import price amounted to $664 per ton, with a decrease of -1.5% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2021 an increase of 19% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $768 per ton. From November 2021 to January 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Finland ($1,282 per ton), while the price for Chile amounted to $655 per ton.
From January 2021 to January 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Colombia (+2.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
