The average import price for flour and meal; of potatoeses stood at $2,328 per ton in June 2022, with a decrease of -4.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2021 an increase of 36% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $2,957 per ton in April 2022; however, from May 2022 to June 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2022, the country with the highest price was the UK ($2,501 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands stood at $1,668 per ton.

From June 2021 to June 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+17.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average export price for flour and meal; of potatoeses amounted to $781 per ton, surging by 5.2% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a abrupt decrease.
