Price for Fluorine, Chlorine, Bromine and Iodine in Colombia (FOB) - 2022
In February 2022, the average export price for fluorine, chlorine, bromine and iodines amounted to $578 per ton, falling by -5.2% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2021 an increase of 8.4% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $610 per ton in January 2022, and then declined in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Panama ($700 per ton), while the average price for exports to Costa Rica ($393 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2021 to February 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Jamaica (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
