The average import price for food preparations not elsewhere specified or included stood at $6,304 per ton in March 2022, picking up by 1.5% against the previous month. Over the period from March 2021 to March 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2022 when the average import price increased by 38% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $7,941 per ton in December 2021; however, from January 2022 to March 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
