Price for Fresh or Chilled Cabbage Lettuce in China (FOB) - 2024

In May 2024, the average export price for fresh or chilled cabbage lettuce amounted to $1,314 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. Over the period under review, export price indicated modest growth from May 2023 to May 2024: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on May 2024 figures, fresh or chilled cabbage lettuce export price decreased by -6.2% against February 2024 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2023 an increase of 56% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,489 per ton. From December 2023 to May 2024, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
