In March 2024, the average import price for fresh or chilled cabbage lettuce amounted to $1,386 per ton, growing by 3.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a slight curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2023 an increase of 12% month-to-month. From March 2023 to March 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Turkey (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
