In 2022, the average export price for fresh or chilled chicory, other than witloof chicory amounted to $1,060 per ton, with a decrease of -38.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a noticeable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 134%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $2,170 per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
