The average export price for fresh or chilled domestic ducks, not cut in pieceses stood at $3,992 per ton in November 2023, increasing by 1.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 11% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $4,734 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($5,970 per ton), while the average price for exports to Croatia ($3,718 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Denmark (+3.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $3,170 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
