The average import price for frozen boneless cuts of bovine meat stood at $12,880 per ton in 2022, jumping by 25% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $13,974 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
