In January 2024, the average export price for frozen domestic ducks, not cut in pieceses amounted to $3,376 per ton, leveling off at the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 4.9% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $3,538 per ton in November 2023; however, from December 2023 to January 2024, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In January 2024, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($3,625 per ton), while the average price for exports to Japan amounted to $3,361 per ton.
From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Serbia (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
