In June 2023, the average export price for frozen raspberries, blackberries, mulberries, loganberries, black-, white- or red currants and gooseberrieses amounted to $1,635 per ton, with an increase of 4.6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a deep contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in August 2022 an increase of 48% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $4,180 per ton. From September 2022 to June 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Argentina ($3,416 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,173 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Argentina (+6.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

Overall, import price indicated prominent growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.3% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, import price for frozen raspberries, blackberries, mulberries, loganberries, black-, white- or red currants and gooseberrieses increased by +135.6% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 an increase of 52%. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
