Overall, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2023 an increase of 15% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $3,377 per ton, and then dropped in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was India ($6,849 per ton), while the price for China ($2,576 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
