Price for Glass Fibres and Wool in Ukraine (CIF) - 2022
In December 2022, the average glass fibres and wool import price amounted to $4,355 per ton, which is down by -42% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a noticeable setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2022 when the average import price increased by 76% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $11,183 per ton. From April 2022 to December 2022, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($19,350 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($1,867 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+9.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average glass fibres and wool export price amounted to $23,114 per ton, growing by 39% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +6.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 49% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($44,651 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bulgaria ($4,146 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Switzerland (+19.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Glass Fibres and Wool in Ukraine
