The average import price for glassware; drinking glasses (not stemware), other than of lead crystal or glass-ceramicses stood at $786 per thousand units in March 2024, dropping by -5.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in October 2023 when the average import price increased by 87% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $897 per thousand units in January 2024; however, from February 2024 to March 2024, import prices failed to regain momentum.
