In March 2024, the average import price for glassware; drinking glasses (not stemware), other than of lead crystal or glass-ceramicses amounted to $1.1 per unit, surging by 111% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a perceptible increase from April 2023 to March 2024: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.8% over the last eleven-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on March 2024 figures, import price for glassware; drinking glasses (not stemware), other than of lead crystal or glass-ceramicses increased by +110.8% against February 2024 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 when the average export price increased by 26%. The export price peaked at $3.4 per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Spain ($2.5 per unit) and Bulgaria ($2.4 per unit), while the average price for exports to Romania ($1.7 per unit) and Slovakia ($1.9 per unit) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+9.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
