The average export price for glassware; drinking glasses (not stemware), other than of lead crystal or glass-ceramicses stood at $960 per thousand units in February 2024, falling by -20.5% against the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a mild slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2023 an increase of 60% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1.3 per unit. From September 2023 to February 2024, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major external markets. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was Guatemala ($336 per thousand units), while the average price for exports to the United States totaled $289 per thousand units.

From April 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Guatemala (-0.8%).
