Price for Grapes; Fresh or Dried in Uzbekistan (FOB) - 2023
The average grapes; fresh or dried export price stood at $1,205 per ton in May 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 15% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,213 per ton, leveling off in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($2,206 per ton), while the average price for exports to Kazakhstan ($530 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From May 2022 to May 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Iraq (+3.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
