The average import price for harrows; (excluding disc), scarifiers, cultivators, weeders and hoeses stood at $1,195 per unit in 2022, growing by 55% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a pronounced decrease. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $1,611 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Sweden ($7,308 per unit), while the price for Latvia ($186 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (+10.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for harrows; (excluding disc), scarifiers, cultivators, weeders and hoeses stood at $1,843 per unit in 2022, rising by 11% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 21% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $2,115 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($11,928 per unit), while the average price for exports to Kyrgyzstan ($134 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary (+49.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Harrows; (Excluding Disc), Scarifiers, Cultivators, Weeders and Hoes in Lithuania
In 2022, supplies from abroad of harrows; (excluding disc), scarifiers, cultivators, weeders and hoeses decreased by -28.9% to 20K units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. Over the period under review, total imports indicated buoyant growth from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.8% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 37%. As a result, imports reached the peak of 28K units, and then declined remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, imports of harrows; (excluding disc), scarifiers, cultivators, weeders and hoeses rose sharply to $23M in 2022. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 58%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 22%. The exports peaked at 2.9K units in 2021, and then contracted modestly in the following year.
In value terms, exports of harrows; (excluding disc), scarifiers, cultivators, weeders and hoeses rose sharply to $5.2M in 2022. Overall, total exports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +16.9% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +59.7% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 37%. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
