The average import price for hydrogen, rare gases and other non-metalses stood at $322 per thousand cubic meters in December 2022, which is down by -12.4% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2022 an increase of 15% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $376 per thousand cubic meters in March 2022; however, from April 2022 to December 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Kuwait.
From January 2022 to December 2022, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Kuwait amounted to +0.2% per month.

Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt decline. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the maximum at 5.9M cubic meters in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, exports of hydrogen, rare gases and other non-metalses reduced dramatically to $709K in 2022. Over the period under review, exports faced a dramatic downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 16%. The exports peaked at $1.8M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.
