The average import price for hydrogen, rare gases and other non-metalses stood at $1.4 per cubic meter in 2022, picking up by 298% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a deep setback. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $3.4 per cubic meter in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($4.3 per cubic meter), while the price for Singapore ($0.5 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Singapore (-13.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Maldives ($2.5 per cubic meter), while the average price for exports to the United States totaled $0.2 per cubic meter.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Maldives (+12.2%).
