In 2022, the average export price for hydrogen, rare gases and other non-metalses amounted to $1.7 per cubic meter, rising by 5.5% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a abrupt setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the average export price increased by 20% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $5.9 per cubic meter in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($8.6 per cubic meter), while the average price for exports to Canada ($0.1 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Vietnam (+9.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
