The average import price for imides and their derivatives; other kinds, excluding saccharins stood at $41,093 per ton in 2022, growing by 175% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a perceptible curtailment. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the maximum at $59,566 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Bulgaria ($171,974 per ton), while the price for Germany ($8,846 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (+18.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $481,135 per ton, and then contracted dramatically in the following year.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Switzerland ($260,000 per ton) and Russia ($219,162 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($179,500 per ton) and Germany ($209,400 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+96.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

After three years of growth, supplies from abroad of imides and their derivatives; other kinds, excluding saccharins decreased by -87.5% to 1.5 tons in 2022.
