In 2022, the average import price for inorganic acids; other than hydrogen fluorides amounted to $3,213 per ton, with an increase of 37% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import price indicated measured growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $1,703 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to December 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
