The average import price for iron and non-alloy steel in ingots stood at $810 per ton in 2022, dropping by -25.6% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, posted a slight increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 an increase of 62% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $1,260 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
