The average import price for iron or non-alloy steel wire, not plated or coateds stood at $1,008 per ton in January 2024, waning by -10.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a mild reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2023 when the average import price increased by 13% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $1,269 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to January 2024, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
