Price for Iron or Steel Bridges in Latvia (FOB) - 2023
The average iron or steel bridges export price stood at $5,533 per ton in September 2023, which is down by -3.4% against the previous month. Over the period from September 2022 to September 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9%. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 an increase of 9.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $5,730 per ton in August 2023, and then shrank modestly in the following month.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($8,362 per ton), while the average price for exports to Finland ($3,352 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Netherlands (+4.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average iron or steel bridges import price stood at $1,766 per ton in 2022, reducing by -31.5% against the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a perceptible setback.
