In April 2024, the average export price for iron or steel cast fittings, other than of non-malleable cast ira amounted to $2,845 per ton, picking up by 5.4% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $3,105 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to April 2024, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In April 2024, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($3,935 per ton), while the average price for exports to Peru ($1,194 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From April 2023 to April 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saudi Arabia (+2.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
