The average import price for iron ores and concentrates, agglomerated (excluding roasted iron pyrites) stood at $178 per ton in November 2023, picking up by 3.1% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in June 2023 when the average import price increased by 11% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $230 per ton in November 2022; however, from December 2022 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
