In August 2023, the average export price for lignite; whether or not pulverised, but not agglomerated, excluding jets amounted to $222 per ton, picking up by 8.4% against the previous month. Overall, export price indicated a strong increase from November 2022 to August 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +6.1% over the last nine months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
