The import price peaked at $764 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.

The average export price for liquefied ethylene, propylene, butylene and butadienes stood at $709 per ton in October 2023, rising by 5.3% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 when the average export price increased by 20% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $912 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to October 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Germany.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Germany amounted to +1.2% per month.
